Would you prefere the 8 teams who will be in the post season or would it be better to have the top 4 from each division from their winning percentage?

If you do the top eight teams, then there'd really be no reason for divisions. I kind of think returning to the no-division format would be cool, where the best teams (based on winning percentage) in the league get in the playoffs.
