  • On the surface, some of them appear to be the same, or related. But if you actually study most of the religions, you will find that they do not agree with each other at all. That is why people only live by one, because they contradict each other, so if they live by more than one, that doesnt really make any sense lol.
  • That is the fault of the religions, not the people. Religious teachings state that members of other religions are "heathens", or "blind", or "evil" or "unenlightened"... Even traditional schools of Buddhism, which claim to teach that all religions are valid, say that people will be continually reincarnated until they accept Buddhism - hence, becoming enlightened.
  • i think not to explore all the religions and blindly accept the "right" one and dismiss all others is smallminded. to embrace the spirituality/religion which is right for you once you have educated yourself is not. obviously, no one religion has the correct answer for everyone. and although there are some strong similarities amongst many of the major religions, i wouldnt say this applies to all of them. that would be presumptuous. different strokes for different folks ~ its what makes the world go round. thus we must practice tolerance, otherwise we are doomed to continue the holy wars, and inquisitions, and crusades, and holocausts until mankind resolves their fanatical religious differences. i personally dont worry about it too much. i will have my answers answered soon enough. namaste.
  • well if they are all the same one must be correct and the other lies which one is correct ? for me they are all lies
  • I have done some studying in these "religions" you mentioned. While I am far from an expert, I don't consider them religions. They generally don't believe in a god. However,I do follow many of their philosophical teachings. - To answer your question, there are many parallels in religion. This is most likely because all religions are man made and all humans come from the same evolutionary background. Your question asked how people can live by "just one" religion. That is because each religion claims to be the one and only. In reality, some of them have good philosophical componants, but none of them are any more true than the others.
