  • A cruise is the most relaxing, tension releasing thing I have ever experienced, but it really doesn't fit in the scope of your question - since it isn't something we can often utilize. Deep cleaning the house and organizing is a sure fired way to release tension - as well as anger, frustration, apprehension and waning self esteem. I don't know what the actual mechanism is that creates this "healing", but it works for me every time. The act of setting my life in order makes me feel like I have regained control of it. And when I have control, I can relax in a clean house.

  • Laughter is the best medicine. That is one of Jim's greatest gifts to me..he keeps me laughing all the time..quick, dry wit..punster. I'm lucky. So, I never get a chance to get tense 'cause I'm laughing often enough to stave it off! :)
