Seeing poverty, cruely, abuse, malice, injustice.

The heavens and the grandness, the size of all compared to us small humans. How little it takes to show us that we are so temporary

I'll tell you this, my friend. The only "thing" in my life or accomplishment that I am inordinately proud of is my son. That's it. So I'm not the kind of person that requires accolades, ribbons, titles, success, approbation, acknowledgement, whatever. I am grateful for and appreciate everything and I take nothing for granted. Don't like to be the center of attention..avoid the spotlight, prefer the sidelines. The opposite of humble is arrogant, maybe? I have nothing about which to be arrogant in the first place! :)
