Does it annoy you when someone asks a very vague question then rates you down just because you didn't address the very specific problem they had in mind?

Yes. That sums it up as the number one worst thing about answerbag. But here's my latest insight: don't assume it was the "anonymous" newbie questioner. I answered that question about cat shit...blah blah blah* Any way. I got NEG FOUR down (that means rated down from a non-newbie) for a brief, analytical answer. I don't think it deserved it. Anyway, I noticed that the QUESTIONER was also rated down. So perhaps it wasn't him. Also, questioner was a newbie: didn't have the points to rate me down FOUR. *I should have known better. Foul sorta questions seem to be more likely rated down: even the answerer gets rated down. http://www.answerbag.com/q_view/99318

hey, don't assume it is always the person asking the question that rates you down. there seems to be alot of people who go around just rating things down for fun lately! i have only ever rated something down something that totally offended me not for peoples opinions to my answers!
