I'm a fan of both but I think Law & Order is best. It's been on forever! I like all the series - Criminal Intent is my favorite.

CSI-Miami. Love the scenery and photography. Know it is just a tv show, but I don't buy a CSI tech gathering all the evidence, conducting the investigation and making the arrests. These are entirely different jobs. L&O is just too serious and intense, esp. SVU for me. Just entertain me, not too much reality. Thanks.

csi. it is really interesting.

Law and Order, the original. It shows you the intense situations of the detective work, and through court, all to lead to an exciting, emotional, and dramatic conclusion. It's approach, in comparison to other criminal shows, is completely original and unique. You can't quite compare L&O with CSI, as they both have different 'flavors' to them. But if you're interested in the 'TNT Drama' feel, the L&O is the best, without a question.

I don't think they are comparable. One is legal and one is forensic. One is character driven and the other is plot driven. I prefer CSI but only because I hit my threshold for legal dramas. And I watch more syndicated TV than primetime and CSI seems to always be on.

Tough question as I love L&O SVU but I also watch the original CSI in Las Vegas but I have to say that I watch SVU the most. Love Benson and Stabler!
