No, you can join my husband who prefers to wash them by hand instead of placing them in the dishwasher. And one of his sisters is that way too.

I don't enjoy washing the dishes but sometimes I feel a sense of accomplishment after washing them. It is because I am a terrible cook and after a particularly good meal, washing the dishes make me feel better about myself that I managed to do something to help out.
