Under the drop-down menu for flagging a question, 'duplicate' is an option. After you select 'duplicate,' a screen will pop up and Answerbag's system will search for similar questions. If you don't see the duplicate question right off the bat, you can change the keywords used in the search. To complete the flagging process, you will need to choose a duplicate question. If you can't find the duplicate, just click 'Cancel' to cancel the flag.

I don't understand why a duplicated question deserves the death penalty, just reply or move on, ignore it.IMHO
