More accountable? Absolutely. They should be required to bring the girl back to life and make her pay.
-
Spoken like a true heir! Why in the heck should anyone, aside form the cowardly dead young lady, be "accountable"? The girl ran up the debt of her own volition. She had originally agreed to pay it back. Nothing has changed besides her body temperature. Unfortuantely, she can no longer pay back her debt. The only solution is for the outstanding bill to be paid by liquidating some of her estate to repay the bank that accommodated her need to spend money. Guess what? Your inheritance is £40,000 lighter, due solely to the decedent's irresponsible spending habits. ;-)

Yes, they should.
-
No.
-
Don't be ridiculous. Banks accountable for suicide.
-
No. People have to learn to take responsibility for their own actions in life. I'm sick and tired of people blaming everybody (usually the government) but themselves for everything - it's your life, so deal with it.
-
No. Why should the banks be accountable for irresponsibiity?
-
If that were so, there would be a lot of lawsuits, and it wouldn't just be the banks.
-
no1 shes the one who ran it up. and suicide is never anyones responsbility but the person who did it
-
Great idea! Why should anyone be accountable for their own decisions anyway?! ;-)
-
Buck stops there when she kills herself. No one else to collect from.....I hope.
