so you saw the debate:)
-
I tell them that I don't want to hear from them after the election is complete.
-
If you don't let your voice be heard, don't complain when the next government screws up on something. Your one vote does count.
-
Not to gripe when we get a crappy president!!!!!!
-
Nothing.

If voting could actually change anything it would probably be outlawed.

"Then I don't want to hear you complain." -- and that's if I'm feeling nice or too hurried to tell them off about it. I had a soc class where a girl said she wasn't going to vote because she was uninformed. On one hand, sure, don't vote if you're uninformed, but you have *no reason* to be uninformed. This election isn't a surprise, you know it's coming. You're in COLLEGE. I'd like to assume you came here to LEARN, but you can't be arsed to spend half an hour on a website that tells you what candidates' professed stances and/or their voting records are? I'm sure you could just *announce* that you're here for your "MRS" degree and be done with it that much faster.

I say "Good." I would rather have a coin toss pick the next president than have the election be decided by idiots who do not take the time to learn who they feel is the better candidate.
