I should add for those of you who do not know, this movie was subtitled-not sure how a four year old is supposed to read the subtitles unless the child is an absolute genius.

well, the best you can do (if you haven't seen the movie) is to rely on the MPAA rate which I think is R for this movie so no kids should be seeing it (night or day)

Uh, yeah, It's absolutely stupid. Unfortunately, the only thing you have to pass to be a parent is a pregnancy test. What was the movie rated anyway? Nevermind, I googled it, and it's rated "R". Unfortunately that only means no one under 17 without parental permission. Since their parents where right there with them, there isn't much the theatre management can do about it without causing a nasty scene. Anyone stupid enough to bring small children to a movie like that is also likely to make a ridiculous scene over being asked to keep the children out. If it were my theatre, I would have asked them to leave. Scene, or no scene. If the rest of the audience has half a brain, like you, they would respect that decision. Trouble is most theatres are staffed by kids who may not believe they have the authority to ask people to leave, or have not yet developed the common sense that would dictate the decision to do it.
