Why do some men who cheat on their wives tell people that their family lives are "happy" and that they "love" their wives? Isn't this hypocrisy?

Well my wife thinks I cheat and lie to her.I'm not happy about it. I've never cheated or lied that I'm aware of.I just wished she trusted me..

they might still love there wive's but want the best of both worlds...the thrill of not getting caught....so one word for men like that BASTARDS!!!!!!!!!!!

Not all men cheat I don't think. But most men that do will tell you love and sex are completely different things.And they just can't help themselves. It is not just men either I know plenty of women that cheat on their husbands.

They are happy with their wives. The wives bear their children, keep the homes running, cook their meals and clean their clothes. The mistress or the other woman is loved just a little more than the wife. These men are not hypocrites... it's just the degree of love that differs.

Why shouldn't they be happy? They are getting everything they want with no thought of loyalty, commitment and fidelity and they not giving up anything. They want to have their cake, eat it AND lick the freakin' bowl. Same thing goes for women who "love" their husbands and yet cheat.

Why? Because they want to impress the world with their image no matter what the cost to everyone else. That kind of man is an empty shell and the worst thing that happens is the woman finds out that what she thought she loved doesn't even exist. It is beyond hypocricy it is betrayal.
