I would have to say yes, we are not born with hemroids so that in its self is a serious enough medical condition and if its also bleeding then it becomes a very serious problem, that needs immediate attention, I would say make you should go to the closest ER, and follow up with your regular doctor as soon as possible.

Yes, when they are thrombosed like that it is serious and should see a doctor as soon as possible. I have problems with them and now need surgery. I would suggest: Drinking lots of water, constipation causes pressure which can make them worse. Enough fiber to make sure that you are regular. Sitz bathes, sitting in just a few inches of warm water helps. Tucks or Preparation H and your doctor can prescribe you an extra strength cortizone cream to help. You can also try an enema if you are really constipated. That'll help relieve the pressure too.
