How are the Seven Deadly Sins connected to "The Masque of the Red Death" by Edgar Allan Poe?

    Ooooo, I love EAP. Well...perhaps it is because of the 7 rooms they go through, each with it's own decor.
    Those sins would be sloth, lust, gluttony, avarice, pride, anger and covetousness. The Prince already shows those sins himself, but you could maybe take the rooms to symbolize each as well...
    I always thought that the passage of rooms symbolized the stages of life.
