  • I pay around $30. I also only own about four pairs. I know that companies exploit workers, but there's no way that I'm going to make my own.
  • Hell no. What a waste of money! Mine are £15 each 9I have 2 pairs the same) because something went wrong with the machine and they were cut wrong at the top, making them a UK size 4, which I can fit into quite easily, but not many can
  • No way. If that started happening, I would find a different company or start wearing track pants. Ther reason why is, you can get them so much cheaper than that.
  • I already do! if they fit me like none other - probably. We are paying above and beyond manufacturing costs for everything anyways - why should jeans be different? It is common sense, nothing sells for what it really costs.
  • No way. $100 for 3 or 4 pairs of jeans, yes. Not because of the markup but because you can get perfectly good jeans for much less, so it makes no sense.
  • No...I wouldn't pay that for a pair of jeans that cost $90 to manufacture. I shop Ross and pay 14-16 for "name brand" jeans. (yes, I'm cheap, I know....I even shop clearance at Ross)
  • It is about what you can afford and how badly you want to impress people. Buy a $30 dollar pair. You are just as cool, the same person, no matter. Being Christmas, take the extra seventy bucks and help someone out. Then you'll feel better than you look!
  • If I liked em, and I could afford them, and (most importantly) I could not make them myself. L+ A+(-MM) = $
  • I wouldn't buy them. That's a rip off! I don't even wear lots of jeans so not too much to worry about but I would just find another store.
  • Yes, I would. As matter of fact, I already do, although they may not actually cost only $6 to manufacture, when you think about not just materials but also construction costs, employees, distribution, marketing, etc. The cost of manufacture is not the only cost determining price, nor does it end there. There is trend, style, fit, among other factors, that also weigh in. If they are something I like, and the construction, style and materials are superior to other brands then I have no problem paying more for them. The overall benefits of ownership is balanced by the cost. We actually see this is many other areas of life everyday, as well. How much do you think that $1.75 fountain soft drink really costs the restaurant? About $.08 on average. That's a HUGE markup! Another would be coffee. Why would you pay almost $2-$3 for a cup-a-joe at Starbucks when you could make your own at home or work for only about $.05 a cup? We pay for not just the thing but for so much more that is associated with the thing, like status, convenience, service, style, variety, etc. This is what a free-market capitalist society is based on. Also, my ass looks so much better in Diesel than in Wrangler. So, you see, I really do it for everyone who has to look at that. Isn't that very altruistic and kind of me? I thought so. You're welcome.
  • No, I would not. I know plenty of people already do, but I'm not one of them. I'm with the others who bargain shop. I don't see the point of spending too much money, since I work hard to get the money in the first place, and I do have financial obligations to meet as well.
  • HELL NO! I can barely justify more than 25 bucks for jeans. and them F**kers better have hot chicks flying out of the woodwork like I'm a male model in one of those AXE body spray commercials.
  • I know how much fabric costs, I know what labor costs are. I sew much of my own clothes. I would never pay outrageous amounts for anything. It only serves to encourage them to do it more and more. I wouldn't buy them if they cost $100. They are simply jeans.
  • Would you be surprised to learn that these same expensive jeans, can be found at dept. stores for about $20.00? Read the labels and compare. Then, you can take me to Sonic for a hamburger.
  • I wouldn't take the chances. If I would have found out, then I would think that it is a waste of extra money to me. I'll go somewhere else to find a pair of jeans at a lower cost.
  • Yeah. I just bought a pair of jeans two days ago that were on sale for $115.00. If you can afford the jeans you like, then why would you not get them? If you can't afford them then yeah I can understand that.
  • I am afraid to say I do it every time.
