Should questions really have the option to be rejected? All it takes is for a person to get cranky about the question and flag it. Is that really fair?

Well, there are actual humans here at AB customer service (as opposed to other Q&A sites). So it is unlikely that unjustified flagging can get a question removed, since the monitors have to agree with the flag. That's what was so bad about YaHell Answers. A vindictive troll and his/her sokc puppets could get questions removed just by flagging them.

Actually, the staff verifies all flagging by everyone - AB User and CL. If you have a problem with the question being flagged, go to the question, scroll to the bottom, click feedback (it loads the question link into the form), and state your case. They DO reverse accepted flags if you can make the argument.
