My mom was married to an abusive alcoholic for 15 years, & consequently i ended up in therapy, i lost my job due to stress, & was cutting myself. Im going to see him, but i don't know where to begin, i dont forgive him but i just dont know where to start.

It is going to be a deeply emotional meeting for you so the main thing is you need to prepare. You have already started by asking this question - already you are thinking about how to handle things. My best suggestion for you is to write down all the things you want to say - it might start as a random list of thoughts but then you can (if you want to) order them later once they are all out on paper. You will have so many thoughts and feelings running through your mind that you stand a chance of forgetting something really important if it isn't written down. Secondly you should read through what you have written and be confident that the most important things you want to say/ask are near the top so that you make sure you get to them. Lastly don't be afraid to cry - there is no shame in showing emotion when you have been so deeply affected by this man's actions. Good luck.
