  • That's what I would call it yes. Just like one resists the temptation to do anything else. It's control of one's behavior and impulses. It can be cultivated and learned. The more you resist, the more it becomes a habit and easier for most people.
  • Willpower is a good way to put it. You can also resist tempting foods, by being selective on what you buy to eat. Never shop hungry, or everything will sound good, exspecially the junk food that is not good for you.
  • Yes and No - will power is having the ability to say no - but for how long can someone say no to food? Saying no to something like crack or heroine is one thing but saying no to something that you need to survive isn't going to hold up very long (IMO)
