Do you like it to snow in the fall?

I do love snow but in it's time, like winter, not fall. But it sure feels cold lately. And we dipped down to 35°F a few nights ago. I covered all my plants that I could in case it froze. It's too early for that.

LOL!! We got done to 35°F just 4-5 days ago. Way to early for my taste! It just feels so cold, I can imagine it snowing soon. One year it did snow here in early Oct., our first year here. I found out that was unusual. I do love the snow and look forward to it but I'm not ready yet, not ready to give up the little warmth we had this summer either.

35 Already? Geez, I don't know what I would do. I don't like the cold very much anyway so I am still savoring the last bits of summer that we are having.

I live in upstate New York as well and moved here from California. One of the reasons we moved was to have 4 seasons, especially snow lol! I don't love the cold but I do love snow, just not coming too early as I'm not ready yet:-) Thanks.

Oh, someone else from Rochester. There are a few ABers from up there. I'm North of the Catskills but still in the foothills, sort of between Binghamton and Albany.

Yes. We can get snow starting about November until about the middle of March.

Living with snow is new to me, at least for the last 4 years it is. I still get so excited by the prospect, though this year, I'm not quite ready to let go of the sun's warmth. Thanks:-)

Since I didn't grow up in it and I don't know any better I haven't gotten tired of snow yet lol! I know, give me a few more years, right? But I've got a SIL who moved here in the late 50s and she still loves it and never tires of the snow. I hope I'm like her:-) Thanks!!

Late autumn would be fine with me. I just don't want it to snow Oct 5th like it did a few years ago. The air just feels very nippy lately :-)

Yeah, snow has to wait until Halloween is over to get here. That's how it should work. I spent some Halloweens in the snow, it isn't always fun. :/

I do love the snow and look forward to it each year but I guess I didn't get enough warmth from the summer, I'm thinking lots of fall would be a good thing. lol! But I suppose if it happens early, I'll still be thrilled:-)

We've had warm winters the last few years. A few cold days, but nothing like I remember growing up.

I guess when I think about the south getting colder it must be more in Florida where I know they've had a few rough years with their citrus and tropical fruits. You must be safe:-)
