I like to cut up home made meatballs and make them be one of the layers to be assembled. I also mix some parmesan and Romano cheese into the Ricotta cheese layers. Most of the time is spent on making the sauce which I cook for about three hours. I use crushed tomatoes and add Italian seasoning and pieces of garlic to the sauce.

Straight from my mom's oven! It's the one food she always made the same every time she made it, and it's amazing!!! Other lasagna works, but there's nothing like when Mom makes it. Shoot...I even tried to use her method, but it just isn't the same. My sister's pretty good at it though.
