  • I dont think that its all about disappointments, sure there are disappointments, and going to be many, but life is great! Loving life over here!
  • life is an amazing thing, yes there are dissapointments, but it goes hand in hand with great joy. like ying and yang.
  • No babe .. i don't agree at all. Even though life can have a lot of disappointment, it has a lot of really beautiful things in it and it's those things that bring peace and happiness to the people who take the time to look for, find and appreciate them ♥
  • if there were no disappointments, we wouldn't be able to pick out the good things in life :)
  • No, sometimes you die young.
  • Not really. We all have our up and down days.
  • Not even in the slightest. You look at it that way if you want to, but I won't.
  • Its all in how you view it
  • No...I have had my share of disappointment but I've had a lot more triumphs... Pick yourself up.....dust yourself down .....and start all over again.
  • My old grandpa used to say "You eat, shit and you pass away"
  • If we didn't experience the disappontment of life we wouldn't value the joy!
  • It's mostly disappointment, but that's not all it is. If it was, we would all just kill ourselves.
  • Thats sad. My life has its disappointments, but mosty its fulled with good times
  • And many of joy! :D dont be so narrow in your thinking ... you never know what tommorow holds! :D
  • not at all. true mine has had some disappointments but also some incredible rewards
  • No! Whoever made up that saying is sad, dull and boring... I feel sorry for them.. cheer up minn!
  • Get a grip man! Clearly you expect your life to be crap, and yet you're still disappointed? Good grief you must be on the verge of topping yourself or something. Life can be fantastic and you don't need to have loads of money for it to be so. Have you ever heard of a paradigm shift? Its all about how you view the world, your life and existence and your own self or self worth. You need one of these and fast. Its time to wake up and start seeing what a glorious world we live in. The sun is shining, the weather is sweet, so go out dance, smile, make someone laugh, change your job, your friends or your partner or whatever is making you sad and start to live. Come on in, the water's lovely.
  • Not mine.... I'm always prepared for the good and the bad. So I enjoy my life so so far.
  • I could agree with you. we are lucky that those years are in the past. we have the future to think about. maybe the future hold promise and success and excitement.
  • Wow! Take some anti-depressants ... FAST! If that doesn't work, locate a termination kit. ;-)
  • LIFE is a disappointment... the many years associated with that....on an average...is good and bad...as a optimistic person, I might opt for the good...but as an pessimistic person... I might look at my whole life as a failure.. {READ DISAPPOINTMENT}
  • No. It CAN be many years of disappointment - but... It is also filled with: sunrises, the first time you see a baby smile, a loving and adoring kitten which falls asleep purring in your lap, climbing a tree when you were a kid and dropping china berries on another unsuspecting kid, riding your bicycle as fast as you can, being totally hot and exhausted and sipping that first sip of ice tea, the first time you feel love, your best friend's hug, the sight of a free wild bird flying higher than you can see, your first steps, the enduring love of your child, pizza... you get my drift? Life is not only about it's entirety - it is also about the moments that are captured only in our memories. I live life, and love life, DESPITE years of disappointment - because all those years you speak about are nothing compared to the brief moments of joy that you also receive with life. It may have been a while since you had one of those moments, but they are all around you. You just have to open your eyes and see them with a non-judgmental mind.
  • No, I don't agree with that.
  • Not at all. Life is what you make of it, even through the disappointments. YOU can learn and grow and with the right heart be happy nearly your whole life long. Disappointments are just little speed bumps on that road. But at least you're still moving forward. Look for the silver linings, appreciate every little thing you have and living can be a delight
  • Yes, god yes. I wish I was free, free as the still born are free. For the scorned and perpetually hate life is nothing but misery and abjection. I tired of being spat on and hated, for being held in utter contempt. Why must I do this? I have loved this world so much, I use to do volunteer work, learn languages, study philosophy and write poetry but people treat me like a diseased leper. I have no where to turn and am weary of this disgusting hell I am going to give in, yes in few nights now I will hang myself and be free.
