You can't!!! You have 5 minutes to edit then it's permanent!!!
-
Once the edit time is over, you can't do anything to your question. Only if it is Offensive, Nonsense or it's a Duplicate, can it be rejected or combined. IN the Terms of Use here it makes it clear that once you write something here, it belongs to the website, not you.
-
You can't delete it. It can be flagged as a dupe
-
You can't. You can contact a moderator and ssk that it be deleted or combined.
-
It can't be deleted.
-
Unfortunately you cannot. And questions can sometimes be found with a google search. You can edit your answers down to 4 letters. Or change your screen name and avatar so that they are not personally identifiable. Be careful not to make your e-mail address public.

With the power of positive thinking.

My child... I know that's what my s/o would want too.

You cannot, as in life - once it's out there, there is no taking it back!
-
You can't.
-
Nope...But someone can flag it as nonsense
-
No once posted it is as if it is written in stone.
-
Good question.. I can't figure it out myself. When you get an answer, I'll give you points. (And I'll give the answerer points, of course.)
-
Well, you can edit it for a certain amount of time after you ask it, but i'm pretty sure you can't just delete it.
-
You can't. You only have a short edit window.
-
No. You have five minutes to edit and that's it.
-
Nope. Sorry! Now Im going to check and see which ones you want deleted.
-
Be careful what you ask, the world just might give you the answer!
-
You can't. The idea of AB is to create a DB of Questions and Answers, searchable by the internet search engines.
-
no way. Sorry.
-
After a question is submitted it can never be taken off. So all answers/questions become property of Answerbag. +5

If I wanted to remove a question I would bring up the question and scroll to the bottom of the page and click on feedback. I would send my reason why I would like it to be removed. The staff are the only ones who can delete a question. although it remains your question (true enough) when you signed in to join the site and clicked ok for the terms of service you agreed that the staff of this site has full control over your postings. If the question is embarrassing or can cause you distress the staff are likely to remove it but if the question is a good question and harms no one (including you) they may change the asker to an anonymous user or delete it but either way it will be as if you never asked it. I have personally found that if you talk to the staff and explain things they are very helpful and caring.
-
You cannot delete your own questions. If it is of great importance to have it removed you can ask the staff and they MAY do it for you. Click on Feedback at the bottom of the page. make sure you put a tick in the box saying that you would like an answer. Then be prepared to wait. Sometimes it can take weeks to get a reply.
