  • Because Christians believe that Jesus IS God. In human flesh. That's the miracle of the Incarnation. Mark 14:62 And Jesus said, I AM: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven. :63 Then the high priest rent his clothes, and saith, What need we any further witnesses? :64 Ye have heard the blasphemy:... John 5:18 Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God. John 8:19 Then they said unto Him, Where is thy Father? Jesus answered, Ye neither know me, nor my Father: if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also. 20 These words spake Jesus in the treasury, as he taught in the temple: and no man laid hands on him; for his hour was not yet come. John 8:24, "Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for unless you believe that I AM, you will die in your sins." John 8:58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I AM.
  • Because this Christian believes Yeshua is my advocate with Our Father in Heaven. Yeshua presents us as pure white and innocent, washed in his blood. One blood cell is said to be enough. As we grow in our Christian Walk, we gain more credence with Our Father to the point where we are invited into His Presence to sit with Him as His child. Yeshua takes our prayers to Our Father. Yahweh is a busy person. That is why He has a host of angels, and other living breathing Christians on earth to help him answer people's prayers.

  • They are all the same. 3 in one. The Trinity.
  • Because everyone has their own direction.
  • Christians belive that Jesus is God. The doctrine of the Holy Trinity states there is one true God who is made up of three separate but equal persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The Bible does not contain the word Trinity. However, the Holy Trinity is hinted at repeatedly in both the Old and New Testaments. For many biblical references, see: http://www.cwo.com/~pentrack/catholic/Trinity.txt Under the influence of the Holy Spirit, the early Christians prayed and struggled over these hints for a couple of centuries. The concept of the Holy Trinity (three equal persons in one God) was mainstream Christianity in 325 C.E. at the Council of Nicaea and our belief is expressed in the Nicene Creed. How this works is not fully known and is one the Christian mysteries. The doctrine of the Holy Trinity is shared by most Christian denominations including Roman and Orthodox Catholics, Lutherans, Anglicans, Baptists, Methodists, Presbyterians, Pentecostals, Episcopalians, and the Salvation Army. There is a story told about St Augustine: Augustine was walking along the seashore trying to figure out the mystery of the Holy Trinity and came up to a little boy. The boy was trying to pour the ocean into a hole in the sand with a seashell. Augustine told the boy what he was doing was impossible. Then the little boy told Augustine that it is also impossible for the mind of man to try to understand the mystery of the Holy Trinity. The little boy turned into an angel and disappeared. For more information, see Catechism of the Catholic Church, sections 232 and following: http://www.usccb.org/catechism/text/pt1sect2chpt1art1p2.shtml#232 The major non-Trinitarian churches are Christadelphianism, Christian Science, Jehovah’s Witnesses, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Arian Catholicism, Unitarianism, Nontrinitarianism, and Oneness Pentecostals. With love in Christ.
  • Look over His life, try to find a spot or blemish. He 100% succeeded in denying the adversary (who very much is the ruler of this age). What is God really, really like? Study Jesus. He is the man that men ought to be.
  • I've heard Christians pray to "God", "Father", "Holy Spirit" and "Jesus" - God is the three in one. Each of the others are part of God.
  • I'm Christian and I pray to the Father, not Christ. I open my prayer by addressing my Heavenly Father and close using the words "in the name of Jesus Christ, amen".
  • Christians pray to Jesus's Father in the name of Jesus. Jesus's father being Jehovah. Christians also pray to Yeshua's father in the name of Yeshua. Yeshua's father is Yahweh. Our Father who art in heaven...in Jesus's name...amen.
  • Hi , thanks for the nice email. I was reading your emails. I too am going thru menupause and I know what you feel about stuff. I eat so well, so that I can feel better. I also make tea infusions . It helps me with the symptoms. I had this itching all over my body and could not stop it. I was going thru mood ups and downs but to be honest. Prayer and staying in the presence of God helps so much. It will pass and its been about 3 years already. Just sometimes feel so unmotivated but keep going and my purpose for God has given me a lift. That is why I was wondering about why you stopped being a Christian. I just would like to know. God for me and Jesus has been my saving grace. I am a miracle. He has done so much for me. I grew up not having much of a father figure so it took many years of God showing me His love to really change my mind and heart. I have never felt so much love from anyone in my life. I have a good marriage but there is a special place in our hearts designed only for that love of God from him . Or else we would not have a need. I have had emotional and physical healings from him and have prayed for many others and have seen that too happen in their life. I have gained such freedom and wisdom from his word. I have met such great people in the body of christ too. His love has caused me to love like never before especially for the children who are abused and the people in this world who hurt so much and need hope. I could go on and on. We do love the muslim community and have met so many beautiful people . It is one of our favorite places of dining. The middle eastern food is big in our home. I appreciate your emails but was just curious why you stopped being a christian. Well, your ear is probably full with all I had to say and best to you and your husband. Traveling mercies are sent to him as he journeys back to his land. Blessing byann, Designer4theKing.
  • Praying to Jesus IS praying directly to God: Jesus said, "I and the Father are one.” - John 10:30 John 14:8-10a Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us.” Jesus answered: “Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me?
  • John 17:3 look up. We do not pray to the same God. The True God My Father , was around before Muhammad and my God does not ask me to disassociate with past male friends. We as christians are a family of God and welcome our friends into our life. God is love and never tells us not to that as your Quaran has which is spoken from your God. Just needed to make that clear. Blessings to you and yours.
  • Whatever, Sin is sin and abounds everywhere. Its up to you to not let your self be tempted. It is the power of our flesh and if we stay in the spirit(holy) we wont sin. God gives us free will and it is up to us to use the Holy Spirit to be strong. Or else you just might as well stay in a box. There will always be temptations in this body . My God thru the Holy Spirit keeps me right if I lean on him. That is just a poor excuse giving up brotherly love for a male friend. I dont believe in alot of what your God allah teaches. For us as christians we have a freedom in Christ as we hear from the Holy Spirit inside of us and are led by him. I have so much more freedom as a Child of Christ. It has been so freeing for me with signs of miracles in the physical and great revelations God brings to us. In no way will I compare the two Gods for you do as you please and I am free to do as my God has blest me in more ways than I can count. What a great life of freedom in the Spirit.
  • I pray to God
  • I pray to God. In the following verses Jesus told His disciples to direct their prayer to the Father. Matthew 6:9-15 "After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. 10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. 11 Give us this day our daily bread. 12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. 13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. 14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: 15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." Of course that applies to me personally. I can't speak for anyone else.
