I like it;)

I hate people who use sarcasm like that...
-
It's not for me. I understand that sarcasm can be witty and entertaining. But it breaks my heart when another person has to wonder "is this sarcasm" -- I'd rather put it all out there and have better conversation. I can handle mild sarcasm in those I truly trust. But the over the top, self-serving variety seems kind of tedious and uncomfortable for my personal liking.

it goes well beyond the point implied as the obvious to establish that the point was obviously ridiculous to point out in the first place and an attempt and humor has taken place... btw the sky is blue retard! jk :P just call em as i see em *.*

Not everyone understands sarcasm. When you are being sarcastic to someone who does NOT get sarcasm, they just think you're being an ass.
-
I admit to being sarcastic at times,..even on AB. I don't do it to insult anyone, or to belittle anyone. It is just my personality. Sorry. I am working on it. But, it will always be there in one form or another. I can't change myself entirely.

I don't like it if it's over the top and self-serving. Only insecure, vain people do that. Sarcasm has its place, and only people who are talented enough to use it effectively and wittingly should be sarcastic. POLICE...... in HOT PURSUIT is one gentleman who knows how to do it----he is quite gifted and remarkably witty, and one doesn't see that too often here.

Why is everyone looking at me? I would never, ever, EVER, do that. :P
-
I don't like it...I suspect it of being a cover up for a personal attack. If done in banter, it's usually fine...but self-serving sarcasm directed at people is just mean.
-
i dont know what the difference between the two is. i generally do not like sarcasm AT ALL.
-
I am not a fan of sarcasm, no matter how it presents itself. Over-the-top anything shows lack of control. Self-serving anything is tedious, boring and pedestrian.
