Good Question:) I have asked many political and history questions..and Sillyville questions:) But I have found the republicans are more aggressive then democrats. but I have known a few democrats to be aggressive too:) I am from a home my mom is a die hard conservative republican, my father is a die hard democrat!! It is like WWII in those during election time..I don't know how they have ever stayed married:):)LOL!! I used to be a republican till I bought my own house, trying to keep it, have a 401K, trying to keep that too. 3 kids:):) Although Bush has given me some tax breaks and refund checks..I need more then short term fixes..at some point I need to know I can retire someday:):):)

Palin has refired the spirit of conservitives...i'm gonna go spraypaing a bus now!!! Not really, just kidding...ood pressure down. But seriously, it's getting closer to election time, and the truly passionate are revieling themselves now more than ever, I say embrace it. Its the most unifying separation (ponder that one) and it only comes every four years.

Uh, take a look at any of Halliburton Shill's posts on here, and tell me he isn't juuuuuust a big aggressive, and biased... and way WAY out there. ;-) No offense Shilly, you know you love me.
-
Really? You think so? As a young Republican who is ALWAYS outnumbered by those of her age, sex, and economic status, I find myself to be more passive and my Democratic friends to be a LOT more aggressive.

I think it tells us that the authoritarian/Homelander mindset is desperately trying to cling to power/influence when events are rapidly overtaking and discrediting that worldview....;-D.... . . http://www.amazon.com/Welcome-Homeland-Americas-Conservative-Revolution/dp/1586421115

News to me yo...

sounds like a biased question

Your question is rather disingenuous. Although some Obama supporter's are extremely aggressive and in your face, e.g. Halliburton Shill; other's are passive-aggressive. They ask questions like this; http://www.answerbag.com/q_view/978939 Sound familiar?

I think it meens that the Obama supporters don't really have much to work with with their canidate. Hope and Change is all he says, how can you formulate a debate with only that to work with. With McCain, you have substance and depth and it is much easier to support him as the only viable canidate.
-
I have not made this observation, but if it is true then my guess would be that it is more a factor of the reigning administration always being attacked prior to an election and so its supporters enter defensive mode.

I was listening to the car radio last fall when I was on my way to Iowa when I heard the statement that a Chicago judge and his wife were having a dinner or some other political function in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. This probably would have been at the Four Season Center which is where all the major appearance functions are held. The thought that crossed my mind was: Why is a judge from Chicago crossing state lines to sponsor a political function for Obama? The next thought was: Is this a continuation of the Daly Era? We don't need any more corruption in our government regardless of the party. AMEN!!! Plus Obama is always making reference to McCain having been in Washington for 26 years. If I recall what I read, Biden has been there for 30 years. Why hasn't anybody said anything pro or con about Biden?

Figure this out . . . McCain was in Jacksonville, FL recently for a ralley which had to be changed from a pancake breakfast at a park to the big Stadium where the Jacksonville Jaugars play due to the response. Oh, did I say the pancake breakfast portion was cancelled. The doors opened at 6:30am with people starting to line up at 5:00am. I have forgotten how many thousands of people were in attendance as you had to obtain tickets on line to attend. Today Obama had a ralley at some park in Jacksonville, FL where they estimated there were 7,000 inside and an estimated 8,000 people outside. However, nobody knows how the number outside was determined. Sounds like another way of padding by Obama. I am yet to figure how he is going to hire an "army of teachers" and do all the things he says he is going to do if he is going to cut taxes. You have to have money to pay an "army of teachers" as he called them in his acceptance speech. I know I wouldn't volunteer to teach the unrully, disrepectful youth of today for nothing. Even on a teachers salary that may not be enough.

With the financial and economical situation the United States finds itself in currently, aggressiveness may be what is needed. Although our economic problems go back to 1999.

I actually tend to agree with your question generally. But I do think the Obamaniacs tend to be more snide and condescending than McPain supporters. The Obamaniacs supporters seem to have an attitude that you can either agree with them or be considered an idiot.
-
Here is my totally subjective opinion..those who support McCain, certainly the surrogates who speak on his behalf on TV constantly, are louder, talk faster, interrupt more and talk over everyone else..note those rare few who speak calmly, take their turns, listen before they respond are almost non-existent. Why? I'm not sure why. Maybe they all go to the same "talking points" class before they are unleashed on the public..because they all sound alike, talk alike, say the exact same words, in the exact some way, using the exact same sales pitch. Just my observation.
-
It tells us that Democrat supporters are more intelligent than Republicans. They use intelligence to win not bullying tactics. They must take their lessons from McCain's past interactions with people. Not a very successful record.
-
Maybe because of confidence and intelligence on the part of Obama's supporters.
-
McCain supporters sound as if they're ENTITLED to the White House, and will say or do ANYTHING to maintain the status quo. They have no intention of losing and they're DEFINITELY not going to lose to a ni...Black man. It just ain't gonna happen. (NO...YOU...CAN'T!) -
