Women are raised different than a man. They are not taught the same sense of responsiblity. They are spoiled and treated like kids for most of their lives when men are taugtht to grow up and not be weak.

They only seem like that to you because you are wearing your needy selfish and unsatisfiable glasses. Take them off and let women be who they want to be. If you don't like them the way they are, leave them alone.

I've only met a few women like that... high maintenance types. perhaps you need to look for a woman that is more laid-back in general. Or perhaps your expectations are not in touch with reality.

Most of the women [you are aware of] may have these unfortunate characteristics, but not all of them do. That would be like me saying that all men are liars and cheaters, now a lot of them [that I am aware of] are these things, but not all of them are. To answer your question [people] can be needy, selfish and unsatisfiable for a whole gamete of reasons. Some of which may be relative to the person doing the describing, and some of which may have to do with the individual being described. I can not give you a precise reason because there are so many variables. In my personal expereince with needy, selfish people, they are usually that way, because they can not seem to give [emotionally] something they never got themselves in the beginning. I'm not sure how many women you actually know very well. But, perhaps you need to take a look at how you're treating women. I don't know too many women like that, and I'm not saying that just because I am a woman. It's not really fair to make such a blanket statement like that.

Some women are needy because men don't give them what they truly need...Selfish because that's the way they were raised....Unsatisfiable because their lovers obviously aren't doing what it takes to please them. All the guys are gonna neg this answer but I don't care cause it's the truth! Hah!

they needy from years of being pushed aside they are selfish from years of being used for sex and discarded like garbage and they are quite easily satisfied by a man who cares enough to concern himself with the first two answers!

It's biological. In nature, the sex which invests the most resources into child-rearing does the choosing and the other sex does the pursuing. In penguins it's the male which sits on the egg and rears the offspring, so the male does the choosing and the female does the wooing. In humans, males contribute nothing (biologically) except the sperm, so females do the choosing. Faced with the fact that females must invest so many resources and run a substantial risk of crippling injury or death to reproduce, it makes sense that our instincts have evolved such that a woman seeks males who are capable of contributing the most possible resources to the creation of a viable offspring. In human terms, that means women are genetically inclined to be attracted to males who are capable of commitment, possess ample physical resources (money and job), and are competitive enough to protect the offspring from other males. On the flip side, this also explains why most men are such vain, possessive, aggressive, obnoxious douchebags -- they're preening to show off their "wares" to potential mates.
