Perfect timing. I did that about 20 minutes ago, just out of curiosity. Found some genealogy research I did about ten years ago, and a link to an article I wrote for my job. UPDATE: After I answered this question, I searched again and amazingly enough, found one of my oldest and dearest friends, who'd posted my name on a message board, looking for me. Now, a few hours later, we've exchanged emails and talked on the phone. Thank you so much for posting this question!! She's been looking for me for a year. The Internet is an amazing thing.

I found five people with my first and last name. none had my middle name. I guess that is why we have middle names.

Not recently, but I occasionally google people I haven't seen in years. I found a couple old friends that way.

Real name, yes, at least once a week. Email, never. Hmmm, maybe I'll do that.

Yeah, all the time. I get a few newspapers (honor roll from when I was in school and some other things) and my dojang (Taekwondo school) website. I also get a lot of German websites (my last name is rare in the states, but comes from Germany).
