Hey, it's their vote. They can do whatever they want with it, and for any reason.
-
Absolutely not. Neither is the fact that she has female body parts. In short, we should choose which candidate to vote for based on their record and experience, what values they seem to support, and their overall philosophy. Palin fails on all three of these by a mile.
-
To them, I suppose. Personally, I prefer a bit more substance behind my decisions.
-
I would say not,for she is not the least bit qualified for that post.Like McCain there are neither fit to rule.I think she was chosen to offset the old age of McCain.

I for one do not want someone "Like Me". A whole lot of people decide on a whim who to vote for. I always vote party line, they agree with me on one hot button issue, he's a man, she's not, he's black, he's not, you can see Russia from Alaska, ect, ect. Of course it's their vote & they can vote for whom they like but ideally wouldn't we all rather have informed voters instead of both parties depending to a large extent on the unenlightened. The best and the worse is less then 50% will even make the effort to go to the polls.

Trust in your candidate is necessary, but it shouldn't be the only reason you vote for someone. Typically, when someone says "she's just like me" they mean they share values and belief systems. I think these are valid reasons to vote for someone.

Even though I like Palin I still say, no exercise your mind people.
-
Nay, sir. The constituency doth protest too much, methinks.
