Basically the learning process of carpentry for your purposes is the same as someone who'd be learning for a career. The only difference is one makes money with their skills, and the other just does it whenever he wants.I'd say , find a woodworking course locally and attend it however long until you feel comfortable enough to use the tools safely properly. Once you've learnt that, your own imagination is your only barrier when it comes to creating projects!

You can take a course ar your community college. Or try it on your own, my husband taught himself. He can make anything, as long as it's for someone elses house, hahha:)

find some land that the government is holding for the deceased that died for them without sons or daughters to claim the land... and nail away till you get good at it! hopefully by then you can live there without fear of them taking your land

They sell handyman books with various prjects and it leads you step vby step through the process of building helpful household furniture and other things after a while you will pick up these skills without having to read these books basically it expands your knowledge please rate my answer handymanclub.com these books are great they have plenty of things to make that you put around the house and it makes it a whole lot easier they're miracle products you get everyday use out of them
