  • I believe that they should, but being in the UK and being totally, sorry that should be awfuly, correct and PC, then we dont have a chance of it ever happening. Of course this does not take into accounct that I, as a slim build person, will most likely be shoe-horned into a seat next to them (To hell with my rights, it would seem !)
  • i wonder how many people will sue the company then on the basis of inflicting 'emotional harm' and potentially causing an increase in cases of bulimia and anorexia due to making the passengers tell them their weight?!?

  • I think that if we started actively making allowances and making exceptions for everyone, everywhere that was in some way different from teh normal standard human being... You would find a lot less of them and a lot more of us. But that being said, there should be a line drawn... There almost has to be a gage at which we measure and control everything or else it will be chaos. Where that line should be drawn should be re thought in general as a whole, not just in one area of weight and size and luggage. People are much larger and live longer than they used to. I believe there is some kind of Bureau of standards somewhere? Contact them...
