Help answer this question below.
Just what are you planning on using this for?
If you are looking for a good video card to play graphics intensive gaming then you get a standard high-end video card like the ATI HD 4800 series or Nvidia GeForce GTX 200 series. They can cost a couple hundred bucks for the low-end "budget" cards to $600 for the high-end "enthusiast" cards. Dell sells both of these series.
If you are looking for CAD/CAM, video animation rendering, 3D CG video and such, then you're looking at professional workstation cards like the ATI FireGL series or the Nvidia Quadro FX series. For the current generation, these typically start at $600 for a "budget" card and go up to $4500 for an "ultra-high" performance card. Dell sells these and will even sell you older (and less capable) generations of these cards for as little as $99. Check capabilities and system requirements carefully before buying an older generation workstation card as some cards will not support some software packages and support from the parent companies gets less and less as time goes by.
Hope this helps.
