Why does answerbag lie ~ by sending you an e-mail telling you that they have new answers to your question, but when you open the e-mail it's telling you your question has been flagged as "duplicate"?

That's merely keeping you informed of the status of your question. If you want to avoid getting flagged for duplicate questions, do a little research using the search eature first. I had to learn the hard way myself as well...my first question was almost immediately flagged as a duplicate!
