I don't wear them, but I can tell you my wife generally does not wear socks when wearing uggs.

I don't have any :( but I probably would if it was cold outside......even though we make fun of the guy across the street for wearing socks with his uggs

Yeah I always wear socks and my uggs are still in great shape after 2 years. But one of my friends never wears socks with hers, and when she takes them off...LOL you don't wanna know! And maybe it was just me, but I tried mine w/o socks once for a few minutes, and I thought it felt icky and uncomfortable. So please wear socks!!! :)

While many people do choose to wear socks with their UGGs, the original intent was to go without socks. The reasoning is that way you can truly take advantage of the comfort of the wool. Ugg boots were invented for the purpose of when Australian surfers go for a surf in the morning, that they would have something warm to slip in and out of. Most people nowadays where them without socks as they feel so much better on your feet and since sheepskin is a natural product they allow your feet to breathe i.e they wont sweat/overheat(Roodyz, 2009).
