74 million he is the highest selling rap artist to date

It is widely accepted that he has sold upwards of around 74 million copies to date. The guy was a great writer. I do however belive that is a bit over rated just because of the fact that he's dad and still puts out new music because he wrote a lot of stuff while in death row so it's likely we'll see that number increase with his next album. However a correction from the comment above that you should be aware of tupac is no longer the number one selling rap artist to date. Eminem has sold around 76 million copies to date with his recent release of relapse surpassing tupac and with Relapse 2 coming out soon we can see that number increase as well.
