yeah... once i was offered a job in a hotel and i went to see what it was all about. i worked the first day, but i didnt like it at all. so next day i just didnt turn up for work. i didnt try to call to request my day's work pay though... i dont think they would have given me the pay though... so i just didnt fight it. there was another job though, where i worked for a summer. at the end of the summer i still had not recieved payment. i kept calling everyday so that the employer gives me my pay. they always told me that the person i needed to ask for it was not there. so i made some research on the internet and sent an email to the boss directly. i called a few days after the email because i didnt get a reply. they finally answered and told me where to go to collect my pay. when i recieved my pay (finally!) i realised that they failed to give me my pay for the last four days that i worked. i was getting real fed up with this company be then. so i phoned again, and related the problem. they must have gotten fed up with me too, coz they told me to go to collect my missing pay and they gave it to me in cash. from that day on, i swore to myself that i would never ever try to get a job with this company again, not even if there was no other job available. heh, i guess i got a little out of context right? but what i tried to tell you... if you think you have the right to get paid for the work you did... then keep on fighting and insisting until your employer gets so sick of your calls that he will agree to pay you so that you will never contact them again. being a nuincance sometimes helps :) good luck!

if you mean for no money exchange or trade? Yes, many times. I do things for people who need it, I've gifted them with things and I've volunteered my time and skills in different ways.
-
Many times....I done it this morning....

For no pay, yes.

I've worked many times for free, but never for nothing. Always there was experience and knowledge to be gained, or satisfaction. The last time I did so, I wanted to work in the kitchen at a restaurant - was a waitress at the time - but the chef wouldn't hire me. So, I started coming in on my own time. Eventually he hired me, and I learned a lot, both before and after I was getting paid. And, of course, I've helped out people in need, or people I care about, but there's always the return of knowing I helped someone as my pay.

You mean, volunteer work? No, not yet, but I would love to do that someday, for a really worthy cause.
