  • They mix 2 sticks of melted butter and 3/4 cup flour together and add to pot slowly. Then they gradually add approximately 1 1/2 cups of heavy cream until it has thickened.
  • I don't know about Outback, but I do know about really yummy, thick-brothed potato soups: they all start with a roux.
  • i mash up some of the potatoes to make my potato soup thicker...or you can always put in instant potato flakes/buds...
