  • Both to some degree. The knowledge that, say, fire is hot tends to come from your senses. You feel it and know it is hot and that if you put your hand in it it will hurt you, very basic but knowledge nonetheless. Reason tends to account for more of it beyond the basic realm, any abstract study would be an example there.
