You can and you will, mate. It seems impossible now but you'll find someone who you care about on so many levels and who puts you first in the world. It might seem distant now but when you least expect it, that's when it'll hit you. Good luck. -
I would love to say something to inspire you to forget her, but, I still love my first love, in fact, we found each other online (after not seeing each other for 15 yrs.) and he told me he still loved me and thought about me all the time. But I am married with children so it's an impossible situation that's tearing my heart out. If it was really love, you'll never forget, but you will find another girl that you will love, it will just be a different love. Good Luck.

If you are as young as I am guessing you to be, worry not. A year (or even less) from now you will not even give it a second thought. YES, you will find another girl; it will not be a problem if you love yourself enough to be happy alone. Love is a choice. AND the kind of "love" you feel now, as you are calling it, is actually infatuation. Time will heal.
