If there was an airport that wanted to have A380's, Would they have to build a entire new terminal, or just make the boarding bridges bigger? Which is more costly?

    They would only need to build new bridges to allow access to either multiple main doors or to main deck and upper deck doors. In addition they would need apron and taxy areas which are suitable for the A380's large wingspan.

    It is not necessary to build a new terminal for this. Extending/rebuilding bridges allows the airport to use the existing terminal facilities and is therefore more economical.
