I don't like christmas much, or presents (but that is because of circumstances). I like the fact it makes my mum happy though, so I pretend to enjoy, for her

Week off work, good food, time with family, plentiful beer, wine, champagne and good films on TV.

I love to be with my family. I love the food. I love to give . And I love to see my kids having fun and enjoying themselves.

Just about everything other than the trafic and the shopping - music, smells, tastes, good wishes, cards from friends, specical phone calls, special services at church, movies, time with family, wishing you a merry Christmas, and most of all, remembering Jesus.

Its that time of year when we put our usual boring day to day existances on hold to catch up with family and friends we perhaps haven,t seen for a while.

I like the fact that I get to spend time with my family. We don't have much family that lives close so it is always nice when they come into town for the holidays. It is great to see everyone and get to just relax and hang out with everyone.

The food. quality time with my family. also i just love 24 desember. and the rest of christmas, there's movies all day, the exact same as last year. don't have to get dressed,(if it's not the 24'th). And i love a White christmas, can't get in the christmas mood without it, so hope the snow will come soon, never happen'd that it hasn't before, so anytime now..=)

Gathering with my family and watchin a bunch of movies and staying up til 12 o'clock. Also eating a lot of food!

Christmas music eggnog staying up for Midnight Mass Réveillon Handel's Messiah - although it really should be considered Easter music time off work to spend with family using the fireplace and not feeling guilty about the pollution it causes all the childhood memories of past Christmases I am talking here about the celebration of Christmas, not the essence of Christmas which would belong in another category of Answerbag.

I dont like christmas because of the presents. I especiialy enjoy the time before christmas because im in a good light hearted mood and Im so jolly. I enjoy christmas because I get to spend time with my family and its a time where everyone is in a good mood so on christmas eve dinner when something bad has to be said it wont be tooken as bad as if it were to be any other day.. lol

No one else has written it, so let me give this answer. I like Christmas because of what it is that we are celebrating, the birth of the Messiah. This is a holiday that has been specifically set aside to reflect on that ultimate gift that God gave to all of us, His only begotten Son, the Savior and Redeemer of the world, God clothed in mortal flesh. The presents, the decorations, etc. are all nice, but I don't need them. It is the celebration of Jesus of Nazareth that I like most about Christmas.
