Yes. I don't know how the answers were missed by me. I often go back and rate up old answers.
-
Yes it happens all the time and may i take this oppurtunity to say SORRY to everyone its not done on purpose:-)

Yes, just recently I found quite a few from my first questions I asked and went back and found I hadn't commented OR given them points. And now I feel terrific because I can even give them more points, even the ones I only gave a few to when I was a lower level:-) Going back is a constant thing. I feel if i asked a question that it is my responsibility to care for those questions and read all the responses I got. I didn't just ask them to ask, I really wanted to know, even silly things turn out so interesting and I learn so much LOL!

yes, I am supposed to get an email telling me I have answers to my questions and I sometimes don't so i often fail to respond and I always say I am sorry if I catch it but unless i am going back thru my questions I won't always see it and I also am sorry. It is discouraging when you answer questions and NOBODY rates you or acknowledges your answer.

It does happen sometimes, but if i get a new reply to a old question of mine i always check the rest of the replies to see if i have missed any. I always reply and point them up then.

Yes, but not on purpose. There have been lots of times that I didn't get notified. I've been going through some old ones, leaving points and commenting.

I always try to go back and find answers I've not responded to. Not all of them show up in "my feedback."

Feedback management is an important issue for me. I never want to output so much Q+A that I can't keep up with the interactions and be fair about acknowledging responses. I miss feedback like everyone else probably does, but I try to be very conscientious about this sort of thing. I would hate for anyone to have 0's in their answers because of my oversight. When a new answer comes up in my feedback, I check to make sure it is the last of the answers on the page. If it isn't, I go back and rate all the others. This is a very helpful practice. If you ever see that I have seemingly abandoned a question, point it out to me in a thread that I am active in!

I try to go back and check to see if I have received answers that I've missed. It makes me feel bad if I don't tell people thank you for answering my questions.

My policy is to always respond to whatever whenever it is discovered. I've responded to things I asked in April 2007, when I first got started., just recently. Things fall through the cracks, unfortunately. It's never too late. Anyway, I can award maximum points now, so they gain more than if I responded when I was a Newbie! :)
