Sometimes I think that. The way the world has always been...it's easy for me to imagine that it's all just a big cosmic joke. I'm sure someone could find it funny.

He already knew what was going to happen but He went ahead and did it anyway. So I'm guessing He did it to teach us something, not to teach himself. Apparently the results will be worth it. Feel free to waste many hours contemplating all the different ideas in these directions. And then throw your hands up in despair and say, "It's all too hard!" "It is all useless, useless, useless", said the Philosopher, "You work your guts out all your life and then you die ... What have you got to show for it? Nothing. It's all useless ... It's like chasing the wind ... You may as well just eat, drink and be merry ..." That's not an exact replica of what he said, and he said a whole lot of other stuff too. Feel free to investigate such things, but don't forget to take some time out - hire a jet-ski, go parachuting, take an old car bush - bashing, party, whatever ... Have fun.
-
I thought exactly this. Just throwing situations at us and being amused at how we try to deal with it.
-
I think it is the other way around....
-
Yeah, I think earth is one of God's experiments (In what, I haven't a clue)
-
Nope of course not
-
No, but I believe that we're yanking his/hers
-
The Earth is like an ant farm to the big guy. And we're the ants.
-
If I were a believer of the impossible, I'd definetely think that but, thank god I'm not!
-
I think that this is a question that lots of us wonder about at one time or another. I must admit that, yes, I have wondered about this myself.
-
No. Imaginary things can't yank chains. Santa doesn't yank chains. God doesn't yank chains. God does nothing. God does not exist.
-
Only because we've allowed him.
-
Certainly not... I think everyone is the maker of their own decisions and that there really isn't such thing as "destiny" or "fate." There might just be many small coincidences that add up to something significant, because of our own interpretations. I think that we are only affected by choices of other mortals, not some immortal up above.
-
Only the believers in it!
-
Naw, I think there are too many other hands yanking.
-
As I don't believe in God, then no.
-
Yeah - sure.. Gods a proper joker! :D
-
Honestly, I think Satan is doing a fine job of that.
-
Yes, I often think that the God(s) are just laughing themselves silly whenever people think that He/She/They actually give a fig about our petty little concerns. . . .
-
He might be a joker, but I'm not laughing.
-
yes sometimes i do.:)
-
I think we're really yanking our own chain and we've been doing it since we were Cro-Magnon Homo Sapiens.
-
I actually think God is the innocent party here! The chain yankers are the people who seem to think they have a hotline to God, and are able and entitled to tell us what God wants. Unfortunately, Palin, the candidate for VP, thinks she is entitled to do this.
-
sometimes... it's like a choke chain at times
-
No not after my experience it's real and when you are dead you can't make it right.
-
Yeah, I wondered. I'd think what kind of a joke are ya pulling here. I don't get that way often though.
