I don't know. I'd like to see evidence that it's worse than my beloved Hell A before I can begin to form an opinion on the Land of Cleves.

I've never actually been there, Sak..but I have seen pictures of the waterfront area..I think they have a great deal of "culture" there, as well as great sporting events..I think it might be comparable to what was done in the Detroit area years ago..spiffing it up, making it good, new and accessible. Have you ever been there? Happy Wednesday! :) ((hugs))

No, Cleveland has a bad rep. Cleveland has a lovely Lakefront, a very nice warehouse restaurant district, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, a wonderful art museum, and one of the nicest baseball parks' in America, Jacob's Field.
-
I don't know much about the city itself...but it is home to at least a couple special baggers that are great people. Shout out to TJoe & Caffey! :)

I'm not sure. Worst I've been to was Newark, NJ - but that was about 20 years ago. I heard there are cities like Flint, MI and Gary, IN are very bad. I bet there are others that are worse than Cleveland.

I have never heard that it was. I have never been there but I have been in a couple that couldn't be worse. No names mentioned.

No, Cleveland is not ugly. Its really a nice place to be if you go the right places. Its just a very poor city.
-
No, downtown Cleveland's got a lot to offer, and has some beautiful suburbs too. But the Browns will never beat the Steelers :D

No Cleveland in north east England is...

Cleveland is a beautiful, unique city. It is home to one of the world's best art museums, three professional sports teams, two of the country's best hospitals, and three universities. The city is surrounded by a great park system and has the beauty of the Lake Erie waterfront. The views of the bridges over the flats are also amazing. How could you have such a strong opinion of such a nice city?

Cleveland is like a lot of other places. I live in the inner city, and we have nice homes here, and other places that are unsightly. Downtown Cleveland is cool, a little busy, and we're remodeling the Flats (entertainment, bars, etc.) The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is a lovely place as well. It is very poor, but it is what one makes it. We are proud of LeBron and the Cavaliers, and we always root for the Browns. The Quicken Loans Arena is an exciting place to be when the Cavs are doing their thing. Otherwise, there's nothing spectacular about Cleveland, this is just home. I went to Detroit in Oct., and it looked terrible. The casinos were closing, and lodging was too high. If you travel outside of Cleveland to its surrounding suburbs, you can find wonderful eateries and great places to shop. They fixed up a huge area of land called the SteelYard, with a bunch of great places to eat and shop. It's pretty cool.
