Why are the explosions in Halo 1 better than those in Halo 2?

There could be several reasons. They could have jsut been lazy, and even had time contraints were they didnt have the extra couple of days to work on those things.

i think cause Halo 2 is supposed to be more of a challenge, though it's easier than H1. harder in multi. too
