Help answer this question below.

How is it that if one party in a divorce files for legal aid that the other party can not do the same, how is this right if both parties need legal help how can the state offer it to one and not the other if both do qualify but its a conflict of interest

    A very good question. Unfortunately I absolutely do not know.

    I assume you've spoken to an attorney about this already. If not, you need to do so.

    If you are truely not elegible for such legal aid, he may be able to point out other resources. And you may make payments to your attorney, as well. Set up a payment plan and stick to it.
