  • Considering that the Baha'i faith works on the belief that when Muhammad said that he was the last of the prophets (sorry Im not sure of my islamic terms but is it the Last Imam?), that he actualy meant that he was the end of a cicle of prophets. Baha'is beleive that there has existed two prophets the Bab (the gate) and Baha'u'allah the prophet founder of the faith. These two prophets started the second circle in what Baha'is call progressive revalation. A muslums stance on this particular issue is (and this is a direct quote from a muslum) "well that's very convinient for you isn't it?" to which I had no responce.
  • Im still waiting here people
  • I dont want to say, "as a whole", because thats not true, but as far as the clerics and Islamic leaders go, they do not accept the Bahai faith. The believe Mohammed was the last prophet of God. There is alot more to this, but this is just summing up. Not only do they not accept the faith, but throughout history they have persecuted Bahai's. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bahai_persecution However, know that this is not true for all Muslims. I have many Islamic friends who are very accepting of the Bahai faith and its principles.
