  • Geocentrism isn't disproven by a solar or a lunar eclipse (it is disproven by a lot of other things but not by eclipses). The solar eclipse is the moon passing between the Sun and the Earth. If the Earth is at the center of the Universe and all solar bodies are rotating around the Earth, it isn't inconceivable that at some point the Moon would pass between the Sun and the Earth and block the Sun's light briefly. The same applies to a lunar eclipse: the Earth has blocked light to the Moon because the Sun and the Moon are on opposite sides of the Earth.
