I would only drink it if I was stranded without water for a long period of time. Otherwise, I don't think it taste so good, so no. I don't eat/drink everything people say is good for you.

If I was dying and nothing else to drink, I might do it, as I now it's not dangerous to drink, just totally yucky!

A far better response to "them" telling you it's good for you (assuming they are to be believed) is for your body to stop getting rid of what's good for it.
