Not particularly. As someone much wiser than myself once observed, there are two types of Keanu Reeves movies -- the ones he ruins, and the ones he ALMOST ruins. It's also been pointed out that his best films are the ones where he plays the clueless dimbulb (the first "Matrix" movie, "A Scanner Darkly", "Bill & Ted") -- when Keanu is supposed to be the smartest guy in the picture ("Chain Reaction", "The Watcher", "Matrix Revolutions") it completely falls apart. And this looks to be one of the "smart Keanu" flicks...

I am wary of remakes,for most of the time,if not all the time,the remake never lives up to the original.
