promise. People who know me know that I always do everything in my power to keep a promise, and that I don't make promises I doubt I can keep.

It gets me very upset. I consider myself a very sincere person. It gets me mad!

That they probably don't know me well enough to come to that conclusion.

It depend on whether you really are sincere. If you're not, then they have a good instinct about their relationship with you. If they're wrong, I'm instantly offended.

Generally I'm a sincere person, so I think I'd be annoyed at first. At the same time, I'd take into account how well the questioner might know me. I couldn't blame a stranger for questioning me - after all, it can be somewhat naive to believe that one can accept the veracity of anything anyone says.

It can depend. They may well have picked up on lack of sincerity and I'm liable to feel embarrassed or shameful. If I believe that I am being genuinely sincere then I'll tend to feel affronted and defensive.

I try to remember their names, then I tell myself that I will never interact with them again. In short, I put them in my imaginary ignore list :)

It hurts my feelings.I tell myself, it's something about them, that they can't accept my compliment, not about me.

I would wonder what their game is..what their motive is ..what is really going on. I say what I mean and I mean what I say and people know that about me. So if someone is going to question my honesty, I'd wonder what they're up to! :)
